User Uptake

In order to support the adoption of Copernicus services by user communities, several "User Uptake" activities funded by the European Commission were carried out in 2013 and 2014.

Training Events

Three 2-day events were held between November 2013 and April 2014 with the objective to raise awareness on Copernicus. Three additional events specifically dedicated to the Copernicus emergency management service were also held between March and June to help new users understand how to access the service.

The corresponding training materials can be downloaded here.

Background information and training materials for Copernicus products and services have been put together in a series of webinars addressing the following Copernicus services:

  • Land monitoring (17 minutes)
  • Marine environment monitoring (46 minutes)
  • Atmosphere monitoring (31 minutes)
  • Emergency management (16 minutes)
